The Forum Freeroll Challenge.
A couple of days ago I was contacted by an old acquaintance of mine who I hadn’t talked to in about two years. He got in touch with me to tell me about a huge promotion he is organizing at Full Tilt Poker, the online home of the APC.
He invited us, all APC members and everyone who is registered at the Kick Ass
Poker Forums to compete in a $1000 FREEROLL forum challenge competition
that he is organizing at Full Tilt.
It’s completely free to play with no catches, so even if you don’t have an
account at Full Tilt Poker yet you can create one and play for free. If you
do not have a Full Tilt account, you’ll need to complete both of these steps.
If you already have a full tilt account you can skip step 1 but you must register
for the online forum challenge in step 2 to get your ticket to the freeroll.
1. Download the Free Full Tilt Poker Software & Create Your Account
2. Register your account with the Online Forum Challenge – select “Kick
Ass Poker” from the forum drop down menu box to represent our forum.
This event combines players from many different online poker forums in a challenge
event. Not only are we individually competing for the prize pool, we are also
as a group competing against other forums for overall points won. The better
we collectively do, we can win a private freeroll for our forum members only
with a few hundred bucks in the prize pool.
Dates and Event Times Dates
WSOOF Freeroll – June 14th, 2008 at 3PM EST. – Play Now
WSOOF Main Event – June 15th, 2008 at 3PM EST ($55 buy-in, completely optional)
Important – You will get a ticket credited to your Full Tilt Poker account
once you are properly signed up through the Online Forum Challenge website.
You must give them your fulltilt name and email address to get your ticket to
the freeroll as you will not be automatically registered!
There is also a follow up event the following called the WSOOF Main Event with
a $12k WSOP Package Guaranteed..
This is a $50+5 tournament so there is going to be many less players and there
is going to be a guaranteed prize package. There is a a $12k WSOP package and
$2000 individual prize pool up for grabs. FTP is also holding WSOOF
Satellites into starting as little as $1 so if you don’t want to pony up the $55 to
play, you can satellite your way in. There will also be bonus prizes for each
competing forum in the main event as well.
*This WSOOf Freeroll is scheduled on the same date as the Atlanta Poker Club’s
WSOP Quad 4 Event 4 which is the ‘2 wins’ event. For those of us who didn’t
qualify for this event, lets play in the WSOOF freeroll!
