APC’ers spoke and we’ve listened. We are revamping our VIP program. Players didn’t know if they were qualified for the APC $10,000 Main Event so we have redesigned our VIP program so you can quickly and easily know if you are invited to the Main Event.
We are excited to announce these simplified changes and as a BONUS, we will be adding bigger and better prizes to the APC $10,000 Main Event!
HERE IS HOW IT WORKS:
APC VIP’s will now come in two types:
- Gold VIP ($195) – Valid for calendar year it was purchased for.
- Silver VIP ($60) – Valid for six months from date of purchase.
Gold VIP Benefits
- 1000 bonus chips at all qualifying APC events
- APC T-shirt
- APC Promotional Item (decal, keychain, etc.)
Silver VIP Benefits
- 1000 bonus chips at all regular APC events
Gold VIP Details
- Gold VIP memberships go on sale on January 1st, 2019
- Gold VIP’s are strictly limited to 225 memberships for sale
- Gold VIP’s cost $195 regardless of date of purchase
- All Gold VIP’s expire on December 31st of each year
- Gold VIP’s are on a first come, first serve basis
- Gold VIP’s will have the year they are valid for printed on them
Silver VIP Details
- Silver VIP’s are available for purchase on July 1st, 2018, and can be purchased at anytime during the year
- Silver VIP’s expire 6 months from the date of purchase
- Silver VIP’s get 1000 bonus chips at any regular APC event
- Two Silver VIP’s DO NOT equal one Gold VIP.
- Silver VIP cards will have the expiration date printed on them.
Main Event Updates and Improvements
In the 2019 APC Main event we are adding $3500-$4000 to the prize pool.
Potential Prizes:
- 1st place = $11,000 Las Vegas VIP Experience (includes $10,000 entry)
- 2nd-10 = Significant increased prize payouts
- 11-20th = Special APC Main Event Gear
FAQ
What do I do if my current VIP does not expire until sometime in 2019?
You will have the option like everyone else to purchase a new GOLD VIP on January 1st. If you do so, then you will receive double bonus chips until your old VIP membership expires. You must physically have both cards (Red and Gold) and present them to the TD to receive double bonus chips. So, for a limited amount of time there may be some players who receive 2000 bonus chips because they purchased a new GOLD VIP prior to the expiration of their old VIP. *This is the only time we will allow double bonus chips as we phase out our old VIP program.
If I purchase two Silver VIP’s am I upgraded to Gold?
No your Silver VIP does not count towards the purchase price of a Gold VIP. These are completely separate options.
Can I get double bonus chips if I buy a Gold AND a Silver VIP?
NO – only existing VIP members who’s current membership doesn’t expire until sometime into 2019 will have the option to “double” their bonus chips.
I won a 6 month VIP membership that would have previously qualified me to buy another 6 month VIP and then qualify for the main event, can I get a discount on a gold VIP?
In most cases, yes. Depending on the expiration date of your current VIP, these 6 month VIP members will have the option to purchase a gold VIP, one time for $100. Contact the office for specific situations.
What happens to the old 6 month VIP membership won at the Monthly and Grand Championship?
We are replacing them with cash.
