Hello Atlanta Poker Club!
We are excited to bring you news of the APC as we close out 2022!
In an effort to always better serve our players interests combined with strengthening our core business of running APC daily/nightly games every week, we have decided to make some changes on how we are doing things starting next month!
We think you guys will be excited, but in short we are going to start sending WAY MORE of you to play in WSOP circuit events in Cherokee.
We are adding $11,000 to our prizes throughout the year!
We will break down the new and improved prize additions below so you can get the details (including a seat to the PLO tourney for the plo players), but we first wanted to explain why we are making changes to the APC.
We are switching our focus and will no longer hold the once per year Main Event. Instead, we are going to award more prizes in our on-going league promotions and competitions.
While we loved the APC Main Event and sending one player to Las Vegas, we have decided to focus on sending MULTIPLE players to Cherokee to compete in the WSOP circuit events instead.
We understand the removal of this event will be disappointing to some of you. It was not an easy choice to make. We felt it was in the best interest of the longevity of the APC and the short term benefit for all players in today’s economic climate to have more closer to home options available.
There are going to be a lot of Cherokee seats you can win throughout the year and more prize money up for grabs in our seasonal events. We hope you are as excited as we are when you take a look at the changes to our prizes and our VIP program down below.
