Hello APC’ers.
We have a little bit of a bad news / good news situation. The bad news is that the Thirsty Turtle games are also cancelled effective now. This was a corporate decision.
While of course we don’t like losing the venue, we really don’t like the players missing out on a VC. It’s always difficult and dissappointing for us when this happens. In the case of the Turtle the good news is that we are able to offer a Venue Championship tourney. It will be on a Saturday at the Turtle and the exact date and time will be determined.
We know one of the first questions is “What about Brucey’s VC?” and the answer is we aren’t sure yet. If we can make that happen we will but we don’t have an answer. Please hang tight with us on that one.
We want to thank everyone who made the Turtle their home over the years. Also, we will have replacement venues lined up and ready to start at the beginning of next season.
The Top 10 from each night will play in the $1,715 Grand Championship, and the Top 2 will play in AllStars, and the Points Champion for each night will receive a silver coin.
