Toys for Tots Annual Knockout Tournament was held on Saturday, November 10th at the American Legion in Duluth. This Tournament was put on entirely by volunteers of the Atlanta Poker Club. A lot of hard work went into making this Tournament a great experience for all who participated.
We had 137 players, and the greatest set of volunteer dealers ever! Thank you all! There was a festive atmosphere with the Marines in attendance. Toys and bikes started piling up. Santa made an appearance. Fireball and Jim Jones were sold to go in those APC shot glasses! In other words, a party!
The play was intense along with that party atmosphere. We had 13 tables. The action moved along and everyone
wanted to collect the knockout chips to earn that $5!
Players were dropping out and staying around to watch the play. We were down to three tables, then two, and that final table was a great one with:
